Policy and Partnerships Lead

The Policy and Partnerships Lead will play a crucial role in advancing Thrive Africa Network’s mission by developing and managing strategic partnerships, influencing policy, and advocating for the organization’s initiatives. This position requires a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of policy-making processes and partnership development.

  • Policy Development and Advocacy: 
    • Develop and implement policy strategies that align with Thrive Africa Network’s mission and goals.
    • Monitor and analyze policy developments at the local, national, and international levels.
    • Advocate for policies that support youth empowerment, sustainable development, and technological innovation.
  • Partnership Management: 
    • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, private sector entities, and other stakeholders.
    • Foster strong relationships with existing and potential partners to advance collaborative projects and initiatives.
    • Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Strategic Planning: 
    • Contribute to the organization’s strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with policy and partnership goals.
    • Develop and implement initiatives that promote Thrive Africa Network’s strategic objectives.
  • Communication and Representation: 
    • Represent Thrive Africa Network at conferences, meetings, and events to advocate for the organization’s mission and goals.
    • Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.

The Innovation and Technology Lead will spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions, with a strong emphasis on leveraging emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), to align with Thrive Africa Network’s mission. This role requires a visionary leader with technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive social impact and sustainable development.

Technology Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Identify and leverage emerging technologies, particularly AI, to advance organizational objectives.

Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of technology projects, with a focus on AI-driven initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing technology team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, with an emphasis on continuous learning in AI and other emerging technologies.

Innovation Initiatives:

The Governance and Compliance Lead will oversee the organization’s governance framework, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and manage human resources functions. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of governance and compliance practices, and experience in human resources management.

Governance:

  • Develop and implement governance policies and procedures that align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Ensure the organization adheres to best practices in governance and maintains high standards of accountability and transparency.

Compliance:

Brand Development:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that reflects the organization’s mission and values.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and materials.
  • Conduct market research to understand the target audience and adapt branding strategies accordingly.

Media Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase online presence and engagement.

  • Oversee the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Manage cash flow, accounting, and financial controls.

Investment Strategy:

  • Develop and implement investment strategies to grow the organization’s financial resources.

Fundraising:
